Photovoltaic Installations
At Eltel Systems we are committed to the environment and for this reason we carry out sustainable installations in all our residences along the Costa del Sol. Malaga, due to its good climate, is one of the cities in Spain where the installation of solar panels pays off the most, both in single-family homes, residential and large installations.
Self-consumption photovoltaic installations are divided into 2 types: isolated photovoltaic systems and grid-connected photovoltaic systems.
OFF-GRID PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS
This type of system is used to produce electricity that is not fed into the grid but must be used at the time of generation. In this type of installation it is recommended to use electric batteries to be able to make use of the stored electricity at those times of the day when there is no generation (night time).
In this type of installation, if batteries are not available, we recommend having an installation connected to the grid independently of the photovoltaic installation in order to be able to have electricity at night.
GRID-CONNECTED PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS
This system is the one that we at Eltel Systems recommend due to its capacity to receive energy from the electricity grid as well as to feed it into the grid. All the energy generated by our solar panels that has not been used can be fed into the grid so that we can benefit from the electricity grid at times when production is lower than we need.
Main services for photovoltaic installations
Self-consumption is not exclusive to single-family dwellings; communities of owners can also benefit from producing their own electricity.
The community can cover the electricity consumption of the building (lift, staircase, garage, common areas…) or a large part of it through an installation of self-consumption solar panels with injection to the grid.
This type of installation is becoming increasingly common in new residential developments across the Costa del Sol, and at Eltel Systems we support sustainable and environmentally friendly electrical installations.
